Chlorospatha Sp Red

Let me know when this folia is back in stock:

Chlorospatha is a species from the Araceae family with a narrow distribution range.
Most of them are growing in Colombia. Despite a large number of species in Colombia, fewer collections were available there compared with Ecuador.

Croat and Hannon listed 370 collections of Chlorospatha from across the world, but they probably studied more.

Despite a large number of species, much is known about it. They have a vast number of patterns, some glossy leaves, some velvety or corrugated.

It is considered a tricky plant to cultivate mainly because it's growing in bogs. That is why this beauty is very rarely available for sale.

They need high humidity and a shaded spot - that makes them perfect for growing in terrariums, especially since they are not tall plants.
