Epipremnum Amplissimum is a tropical vine that originates from New Guinea, northwestern Australia and the Solomon Islands. In a natural position, it grows in the wetlands of a lush rainforest, where it climbs trees with aerial roots. It is a less known species than the popular Golden Epipremnum, harder to get and sought after by collectors.
The undoubted decoration of Epipremnum amplissimum are uniformly shimmering green, slender, lanceolate and narrow leaves, reaching a length of up to 30 cm. It grows best and looks the most effective when supported, then the leaves are larger and the whole plant looks extremely elegant. As an adult, she can reach considerable sizes.
He likes bright locations with lots of diffused light, slightly more moist soil than the popular golden epipremnum, but the substrate should dry a little before re-watering.
Plant growth can be controlled by pruning.
