While it has not yet been formally described, everyone calls it Philodendron “El Choco red”.
This velvety aroid also has an iridescent sheen to the leaves.
Endemic to the Choco area of Columbia, this is one of the most beautiful Philodendrons you can have in your collection.
It prefers high humidity, medium indirect light, and a well draining soil. It is a climber and will do best with a totem.
*El Choco leaves are delicate, therefore some bruising or tearing will most likely occur during transit. Give your plant some time to recover and new leaves will emerge in perfect form!*
The plant has 4 leaves and another one forming, 40 cam tall, some damage from shipping, and will be shipped in a 12 cm pot.
